New Jersey’s travel ban, which began at 9 pm Sunday, will now remain in effect until noon on Monday, police announced.
New Jersey State Police said the “extension is necessary due to…. [the] heavy snowfall, blizzard-like conditions, and strong winds that continue to create dangerous travel conditions.”
“Residents are urged to avoid all non-essential travel until the restriction is lifted,” police said.
