Getting There
Fly into Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport (TNG) or Fez Saïs Airport (FEZ). From Tangier, take a CTM bus (2.5–3 hours, ~35–215 MAD) or a grand taxi. From Fez, buses run 3–5 hours with several daily departures. Private transfers are also available from both cities for door-to-door service. Driving is possible but mountain roads are steep and winding.
Getting Around
The medina is pedestrian-only and best explored on foot—wear comfortable shoes for cobblestone streets and steep stairs. For destinations outside the old town, petit taxis are available (negotiate the fare beforehand). There is no formal public transit system within the city.
